Though it is still too early to say, but I feel like everything is falling into plan. I just hope it will continue to be this way until we can successfully fulfill our goals. If ever, I can finally do all the things I promised to mom like house; if not renovation, and new furnishings. I’ve been telling her that a long time, yet there are only few that I can do.

Anyway, one of the furnishings I promised are the Muskoka chairs. Both my parents love to spend their time in the yard sipping coffee and chatting especially in early morning and in the afternoon. That’s why they requested for it. I have to admit, I don’t have that much this time that’s why I made a promise and include it in my things to fulfill. When I have enough, I will not forget to buy these chairs for them.

Being part of the industrial industry, dad has several tools kept in the house like cutting tools, fasteners, bearings and so on. Sometimes he will leave them in the site especially if the work takes a while to finish. But, most of the time he brings them home. However, he has this attitude of “leaving everything to mom.” He let mom take care of everything. But, mom is already too busy taking care of the chores. Oftentimes she forgets the things she kept properly. That’s why dad ends up losing some of his tools even newly bought ones.

After sometime, he realizes that he is wasting his precious supplies just because he leaves everything to mom. So, he learns to keep them by himself, which is better. At least that way, he knows where to find them whenever he needs to use them. If he only does that a long time ago, I’m sure he will not lose anything.

Speaking of going home I mentioned earlier, I’m reminded about the xbox 360 controller my fourth sibling courageously asks me. Well, it’s not that he never asked anything from me. In fact, he keeps on asking me a lot of things. I just consider it brave because I always point out that I don’t give items that have something to do with games, but he still asks me. Of course, there’s a corresponding agreement to that. Knowing my brother’s behavior, I bet he can’t follow it. But, it’s better to say it than never.

Anyway, since we already agreed – and I trust him – there’s a need to find a controller before going home. I’d like to keep my word so he will also keep his. I just hope I can find something that offers discount because I don’t have much in my budget.

It is difficult to get a straight answer by asking your friends. Those who have gas will swear that their method is the new and improved version, with less mess, less fuss and more exact cooking. Those who have charcoal (or alternate solid fuel such as heat beats) barbecues will scoff in the face of those who don’t and question what the point of a barbecue is without the taste of the smoke on the food (and the fun of the fire). So what do you choose if you are buying your first Barbecue?

If you prefer the idea of the outdoors experience, the thrill of the fire or the macho sport of making a fire and then cooking over it, solid fuel based may be the way for you. It does require more attention – if you don’t catch it when its right, your perfectly grilled pork chop, could end up looking like a burnt chop.

If, however, you prefer the idea of simple and less stressful cooking with more predictable results, go for gas. The grill is ready when you are – you just turn the nob. You don’t have to light the fire and there are no ashes to chuck out afterward.

If you are environmentally aware, gas barbecues may be the better option for you. They use natural products – propane or natural gas and are only mildly noxious. Solid fuel based grills on the other hand, produce noxious fumes and lots of smoke.

Nowadays, mom is having difficulties leaving the house to go on vacation. It’s one of our great problems because we don’t have anybody as look out while we are gone. She would just have to let go of the opportunity to travel for that matter. However, this can’t go on in the future. One way or the other she needs to enjoy with us. That’s why I am looking for ways to solve the issue.

While searching the web, I came across an article that tackles home automation systems. Well, it sounds interesting so I go on digging more information about it. By definition, home automation is as anything that gives the owner remote or automatic control of things around the home, which includes centralized control of lighting, HVAC (heating, ventilation and air conditioning), appliances, and other systems, to provide improved convenience, comfort, energy efficiency and security. It gives people the ability to control various electronic devices in home from anywhere in the world.

Having your furniture delivered can cost a hundred or so extra, so it’s up to you to determine if it’s worth it or not.
