The weather news says that we are going to experience elNino by midst of February. That means farmers and consumers will suffer from low production of crops and other agricultural plants due to the extreme heat of the sun. But, the government already has some preemptive measures before it happens.
As for households, electric bills will surely soar high for using air-conditioning systems, electric fans, and other cooling appliances. High temperature will cause discomfort for homeowners. The only way to make their homes livable is to use cooling systems.
However, I am not so sure if that will happen in our region. In the past, we did not experience elNino when every city in the upper part of the country suffers. During those times we need to use dehumidifier because of extreme humidity brought by continuous rains. We are lucky though.
If we can only transfer the rain clouds to that part of the country, we will do just to help farmers. But, sadly we can’t. With that fact on hand, I am not pretty sure if that will happen here since there is an obvious sign of heavy rains almost every day.
