I promised myself not to mind any household problems for the sake of Christmas. However, the strong rain last night put me to the test. But, I have to be calm even if there are leaks in the roof. Our landlady says that every leak in this house is already fixed. I believed her, but it’s not true.
According to the previous renters, one of the reasons they left the place even if they are still in the contract is the roofing problem. They don’t want to spend just to fix the roof that is not theirs. We don’t have the choice, but to have it fixed. I’ll just charge the fees to the landlady because we just moved in here for a week or two. Of course, I will let the Christmas and New Year pass by first. The work should start after the holidays. I will just enjoy the time before anything else. I will just pray that it will not rain tomorrow and the week that follows.
