I am a fan of television programs that can potentially increase my knowledge. Such programs include, but not limited to national geographic, animal planet, history and discovery especially the “how it’s made” series. From this series, I get to learn how the simple things are made. Also, I get to appreciate the intricacy of the things we use every day, but oftentimes taken for granted.
I’m actually a very curious person ever since a child; reason enough for my mom to freak every time I asked her so many questions. Now, I no longer have to ask her because I’m already capable of doing my own research in books and the web. Sometimes, I can get the answer of the supposedly stupid question according to hubby in the programs I am watching. Like how the stainless steel drums are made. For a long time, I am asking people about it, yet I can find so many different answers. Of course, I don’t know which one is right until I watch the series. From that I then become a great fan of this show.
