Finally, I got a chance to watch District 9 movie. I thought it’s just like the common alien vs human thing. But, I get to appreciate the movie more as I finished watching. It’s not the typical action type nonsense alien thing. It’s actually a different thing.
I like it a lot as it’s all about betrayal, loyalty, trust, relationships, and sacrifice. It also depicts human’s greed and hunger for power. Even though the film is supposedly sci-fi, there is a sense of the reality. It’s a story that is really fresh and original in concept. For me and hubby, we got our money’s worth.
With a rating from 1-10, I’ll give it 8. It still shows very brutal scenes and the characters are using foul languages. Hehehe! But, all in all it’s very good.
