Basically, there are several types of kitchen sinks available in the market such as stainless steel, enamel over steel or cast iron, ceramic, plastic, marble, concrete, wood, stone, copper and so on. However, copper kitchen sinks offer many advantages that simply can’t be matched by other sinks. Not only does it add old world charm to the kitchen, but because copper is naturally antibacterial. Bacteria and other germs last only for a couple of hours in copper as compare to days for other kitchen sinks. Also, it is a non-rusting material with a unique visual distinction.
However, installing this type of sink is expensive to very expensive depending on the size and design. Plus, it requires polishing to retain its bright appearance.
