I mentioned somewhere in my blog that there are roughly around three leaks I found in the roof. It’s a bit frustrating learning that the owner used second-hard roofing from a construction. She recycled the roof and put it in our apartment.
Before, I thought that in some way we are to blame for the leaks because we affix the internet antenna in the roof. But, after talking to our neighbor I am enlightened. She knew the materials used since this apartment was reconstructed last year and she is already renting the other door five years from now. She said that this apartment don’t have a second floor. As she reconstructed it she used second-hand materials from the corrugated roofing, to the roofing panels to the second floor foundation.
Hubby and I talked about whether or not to buy new corrugated roofing. We have seen several quality roofing at tallantinc. However, as we checked the contract it says that she is not liable to any expenses we incur in buying the supplies and the labor for the repairs. I don’t know if we will continue with that idea or just leave this place after our contract ends.
