I’m sure you will agree with me that pizza is one food that dieters can’t often indulge in, given its high calorie content. However, that should by no means signify that we shouldn’t enjoy it now and then – and even make the most of it by packing it full with healthy vitamins and fibers by adding vegetables to it. A quick meal does not necessarily have to mean an unhealthy one, it has been pointed out. In order to keep an eye on our figure and the daily intake of calories, we can go for frozen cheese pizza. It may be a bit “boring” served as such, but with a few vegetables on top, it can become quite a delicious and healthy treat. Moreover, it’s also very filling, which means we’ll be eating fewer slices. The secret is to sauté all the veggies using herbs, garlic and olive oils, and then to spread them on the pizza.
Good thing with this do-it-yourself, vegetable-enriched pizza is that we can use virtually any veggie we happen to have in the fridge, from carrots, mushrooms, to broccoli, pepper, or spinach. Once the vegetables are done, we add them to the pizza and then bake it as usual. For a bit more taste, we can also use topping, but that depends entirely on the type of diet we’re on and the number of calories we’re supposed to have for each meal. So, guys try it now!
