I came across a blog site that tackles about the construction of his house. He mentioned the words like insulated concrete forms. I actually don’t understand it that much since I haven’t had first hand encounter of construction materials. So, I grab the opportunity to look for its meaning on the web. I learned that Insulating Concrete Forms or (ICFs) are stay-in-place formwork for energy-efficient, cast-in-place, reinforced concrete walls. It serves as a functional part of the wall after the concrete is poured. I will not go through other technical terms. It’s enough that I learn the meaning of ICF.
