When I was still working for a corporation, I always do my best and exert the effort needed to top the branches I am handling. It’s not that I am competing with other branches in the country. Or probably I am, just that I am in denial. Well, deep inside me I want to grab even one of those Corporate Plaques the company is giving to good performing branch. That is a good item on my career portfolio. Sadly for about four years, I haven’t got one not even one.
I decided to change career. I left my company and started being a freelance kind of work. Now, I am no longer vying for corporate awards. I am competing with my own self which is my greatest enemy for now. I just remember all of these things that happened a long time ago after seeing so many company as well as Baseball Trophies in one particular online store. This gives me an idea to buy my own trophy. Why not? I will just give an award to myself since no one notice my effort. Not a bad idea, right?
