One of my friends emailed me inviting to join a social network site that she is a member of. Well, I am not really interested in already famous social sites. But, I think it’s a good way to connect with long time friends who are also a member of the site. I tried looking for other social network, specifically the new one. I found Acobay which is still in its beta stage and very fresh. But expect that new features are applied day by day.
I tried applying because for the first time, I become interested. I used to envy my partner because he is the third member of the very famous social network of today. He signed up the very first time it is launched in the web. But, sadly I am not in the first 10th person that signed up in Acobay.
The sites concept is unique from other social networks since members can specify the category they want to become a member. Mine is on Pet network category as I like pets a lot. But, my other option is on Movie network because I am also a movie fanatic as well. However, pet weighs heavier than movie, so I choose pets to be my category. Another thing is that I can share my thoughts in their discussion. I think it’s really a good start for this new network.
