Valentine’s Day is fast approaching!

It’s almost a month now after New Year, and I am waiting for the Valentine’s Day. When I was in high school, I used to wish that my crush in school would give me flowers for this day. I was able to finish high school but it never happened. I have suitors, but I never pay attention to them. Maybe that is the reason they never give me flowers. Well, we are just kids.

When I entered college my wish remains the same. I still want to feel that I am a girl and want to receive flowers from my crush. But then again it never happens. Ow I have to give credit to my suitor, the only one who never forgot to give me a heart balloon when I was in my senior year. But I never liked him so we just remain friends.

My wish just materialized after a year of working. My love story just began last March 2005. Of course valentines are over that time. The usual courtship, he gives me flowers and gifts. And became official boyfriend/girlfriend April on the same year. Let’s just fast track everything. I can’t forget the first Valentine’s Day I spent with him. This is the sweetest day I have ever experienced.

He actualized my wish for celebrating the day. A delivery man just came to the office with valentine’s gifts at hand, a very big white teddy bear with the words “I love you” written on a big red heart. He asked for my name and lets me sign for the received paper. Everyone in the office giggles and teased me. I wanted to call him that time but his phone is off. He arrives early to pick me up with valentines day roses. Again, my office mates tease me. That’s not all; I have been serenade at the restaurant with the people he paid to sing for the night.

Today, I am not anticipating for anything else. I don’t know what’s going on his mind. He is my first and last and the only boyfriend I ever had. Hopefully he will be my husband, let’s just see about that.
