I am really amazed to see GPS installed in a taxi. It was the first time I see like this one. Actually, it happened last year when my partner and I were searching for a school for his board exam. Mr. Driver instantly pop-out his gadget to see which way he will be going. Although our place is not so big, but there are several turns, streets and one way road that he needs to consider. And only that we were really entertained since he keeps on talking to us while driving. We arrived on our destination safe and sound because of that he gets a good tip.

I think it’s a great idea for taxi drivers to have these. The new ones warn of traffic tie-ups, construction delays, all sorts of things. And it would eliminate cabbies driving “the long way” to increase their fare.
