Nobody in this world would want to end a good relationship. Of course people get married because they love each other and plead to live side by side until the end of time. However, there are times that everything turns sour and it would be better to give each other freedom.

I used to hear my friend complaining that she feels her husband is cheating on her. She proves her feelings true when she was spying and caught them on a restaurant. What now? Waffles with Blueberry Syrup

Waffles are healthy, nutritious way to start your day and using sweet potatoes adds an extra twist to this early morning treat. Add a handful of fresh berries to the waffles and you’ll enjoy an even tastier, antioxidant-rich treat.

For the pancakes:

1/3 cup peeled and diced sweet potato
1 tablespoon baking powder
1/4 cup whole-wheat (whole-meal) flour
3/4 cup all-purpose (plain) flour
1/4 cup cornmeal, preferably stone-ground
1 egg white
1 cup plain soy milk (soya milk)
2 tablespoons olive oil
1/8 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/8 teaspoon ground ginger
1/2 teaspoon salt

For the syrup

2 cups fresh or frozen blueberries
2 tablespoons water (if you’re using fresh berries)
1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
1 teaspoon grated lemon zest
1 tablespoon dark honey
3 tablespoons light molasses

Instruction:
First, make the syrup. Put the blueberries, water (if you’re using any), lemon zest and juice, the honey and 1 tablespoon of molasses into a pan and bring to a boil over medium heat stirring occasionally. Lower the heat, cover the pan and simmer the mixture until it begins to thicken and all the berries burst. It shouldn’t take longer than 5 – 7 minutes. Set aside and keep the pan warm.

Next, boil the potatoes in a separate saucepan, leaving them to simmer over medium heat until they are very tender. Puree them in a blender or food processor and set aside. In a separate bowl, combine the flours, the cornmeal, the baking powder, cinnamon, salt and ginger. Put the potato puree in a larger bowl and whisk it together with the milk, the olive oil and the other 2 spoons of molasses. Blend in the flour and stir until they are well blended.

Next, beat the egg white in a mixer until stiff and whisk it into the batter, first only a small amount (a few spoonfuls), adding the entire amount progressively. You can make the pancakes using a waffle iron or a regular nonstick frying pan. To keep the waffles warm, after they are cooked you can place them on a baking sheet in the oven (preheated to 225 F). Top the waffles with the syrup and serve.

We all know how burglars work this day. Some of them break in homes even if there are people inside. Although I never experience this, I know how it feels like to lose important things. It is agonizing and painful, how much more if this important stuff is taken right in your own home where you thought is the safest place. We have to accept the fact that crimes are increasing. But we can do something about it by taking the appropriate measures to protect our homes.

Like for instance in Dallas. Every year, hundreds of people living here experienced burglary. This would not be the case if they have home security systems at home like that of Dallas Home Security. It could have prevented these crimes or the result of the occurrence would be different.

I am really amazed!

I am really amazed to see GPS installed in a taxi. It was the first time I see like this one. Actually, it happened last year when my partner and I were searching for a school for his board exam. Mr. Driver instantly pop-out his gadget to see which way he will be going. Although our place is not so big, but there are several turns, streets and one way road that he needs to consider. And only that we were really entertained since he keeps on talking to us while driving. We arrived on our destination safe and sound because of that he gets a good tip.

Priceless

A well-known speaker started off his seminar by holding up a $20 bill. In the room of 200, he asked, who would like this $20 bill? Hands started going up. He said, I am going to give this to one of you, but first, let me do this. He proceeded to crumple the bill up. He then asked, who still wants it? Still the hands were up in the air. Well, he replied, what if I do this? He dropped it on the ground, and started to grind it into the floor with his shoe. He picked it up, now crumpled and dirty. Now, who still wants it? Still hands went into the air.

My friends, you all have learned a very valuable lesson. No matter what I did to the money, you still wanted it, because, it did not decrease in value. It was still worth 20 dollars. Many times in our lives, we are dropped, crumpled and ground into the dirt by the decisions we make and the circumstances that comes our way. We feel that we are worthless. But, no matter what has happened or what will happen, you will never lose your value, dirty or clean, crumpled or finely creased, you are still priceless to those who love you. The worth of our lives comes not in what we do, or who we know, but, by who we are.

invitation from a friend

Yesterday, I received an invitation from a friend. She just gets some information on Single holidays where she can take a break from the stress of everyday life and work. Of course since she is single she can always do whatever she wants to do. And she can also spend all her money on her own without thinking of anything or anybody. And she wants me to go with her. But I am really busy and no longer a single.

I have read about stories of single travelers spending Singles holidays. Most of them are very much contented and happy with the idea. They were able to discover new places and meet lots of people of varying ages and lifestyles. Of course, they will make new friendships and some even end up dating.

I love the idea of walking holidays. But I don’t have previous experience for these trips. If given a chance why not, I am in good health. And I enjoy walking at the mall so why not take it to nature. I think I have the stamina for 4-5 hours per day of walking. Even my partner doesn’t have problems with it since he is used to high altitude trekking. But for now I just live it all to my single friend. She needs this to meet new people and see places.

don’t want to look awful in beach?

Summer is just months away, and I know most of you, like me, want to bask the sun wearing sexy swimsuits. My idea of getting these bulges out of my body is through weight loss products and exercise for toning. I don’t want to look awful in the beach, together with good shape women. I don’t know if I can still achieve the body that I am aiming for this summer. But it would be a dream if I say I want to look like when I was still in college. Probably not, but it doesn’t hurt if I try. Let’s just see about that.
