hint for moving!

We all know that moving from one place to another can be very tedious and stressful. But, with our technology nowadays, this should not be the case. Searching the internet will lead you to several moving pods sites like upack.com. However, choosing from one company to the other can be tricky. One hint is to look for those with affordable price. With our current economic situation, it is logical to choose those with reasonable prices. Keep in mind that affordability should not compromise quality. See to it; that you can get a quality service from the company.

Make the right cut

Sometimes all it takes is a snip of the scissors for you to get a younger look. These tips are guaranteed to sheer off years.

  • The magic length You don’t have to automatically resign yourself to a super-short crop. Instead, consider a length anywhere between your collarbones and chin. Hair that hits within those three inches is most flattering.
  • Layering 101 Avoid a choppy, overly layered cut if hair is thinning – you’ll just play up the problem. Often women get lots of layers because they hear this adds volume, but layers won’t help if the hair is simply not there. Instead, opt for a cut with long layers and subtle graduation, rather than shorter layers throughout.
  • Styling Do’s If your face seems more angular these days, soften the edges by wearing gentle waves to curls around your face. If a fuller, round face is the issue, do the opposite – a sleek, straight look is an easy way to instantly counteract heaviness.
  • Fringe Benefits Side-swept bangs gives you a fun, youthful vibe. Plus, they instantly create fullness toward the front of your head, where woman tend to lose hair. Go for thicker bangs (wispy is aging – it looks like hair is thinning), but keeps the ends soft and fringy; blunt’s too harsh.

nice chitchat!

Some of my college friends are now taking up law or masters. I feel a little envious that most of them are almost graduating. Well, I got a chance to talk to the one who took-up law years after graduation. A little hi’s and hello’s, then we head out to serious stuff like his future plans. I feel like an investigator that is too nosy. Well I just got curious and we have been close friends in college so I think he doesn’t mind. He wanted to become an arbitration attorney, which I don’t understand that time. I nod my head and gave my appreciation to his plans but deep inside I felt ashamed for not knowing it. LOL! We have a nice chitchat just like in college. Well, keep on asking me if I have plans to take up masters or law. Well, I still don’t have plans yet, maybe in the future but not right now because I don’t have sufficient cash to fund that one.

my dad’s christmas presence!

3 years ago, I can still remember the time when my father applied for a loan to buy his dream speakers but get rejected. He was so frustrated and depressed that time because he always loves music. I promise myself to get him his speakers. And, I think this Christmas is the perfect time. I searched the web to get the best floorstanding speakers. I don’t settle for less because if ever I pursue this, it will be the best gift my dad will ever receive from me. The good thing, however, is that I came across thespeakercompany.com that offers high quality speakers at half the price. I am sure my dad will get a blast from these spectacular loudspeakers. The question however, can they ship these speakers in my country. I have to check on this one because I don’t want to encounter problems if ever. Or I will just check for speakers locally. Let’s see!

Protect your Heart

Here are proven ways:

  • Cut down your blood cholesterol level. Lowering cholesterol levels will lower the risk of heart attack. Your doctor can arrange a simple blood test to measure your blood cholesterol levels as part of the overall assessment of your cardiovascular risk. Most people with heart problems should aim for a general blood cholesterol level of less than 4mmol/L.
  • Control that weight. Strive to maintain your recommended body weight. If you are overweight, you need to diet and trim your waistline to reduce your heart disease risk. Avoid diets that promise rapid weight loss, and do not starve yourself or miss meals. Most vitamins do not reduce heart risks, but certain vitamins (B6, B12, and folic acid) may have some benefits. Consult your doctor.
  • Quit smoking. If you smoke, your chances of a heart attack are two or three times those of a non-smoker and you have a higher risk of stroke and other diseases. Lifetime smokers have a 50 percent chance of dying from smoking-related diseases. Their life span is also shorter by an average of 14 years. Smoking even affects the health of others around you. If you stop smoking, all the above risks immediately fall. Stopping now will lower your risks of a heart attack to that of a non-smoker within five years.
  • Bring down your blood pressure. A high blood pressure can enlarge and weaken the heart and damage the blood vessels. Get your blood pressure checked regularly and more often if you are older, are taking any medication ( including contraceptives), are overweight, or have diabetes or a family history of heart disease.

Sticking to the same exercises

If you walk the same route, swim laps at the same speed, or even have a single strength-training routine, your muscles will eventually adapt and become more efficient that they will burn fewer calories while you work out. You can tell it if you’re not sweating as much at the end of your routine; you don’t feel that tired after working out; or gaining weight even though you aren’t eating more or exercising less.

Give your metabolic rate a boost by adding a few short, fast-paced bursts of speed to your regular walking, biking, swimming or other aerobic routine. More muscle fibers are working during high intensity intervals. When you push hard in short bursts, it reactivates nerve fibers, builds new capillaries, and forces your body to repair the muscle. All of that burns a tremendous amount of calories-long after you have completed your session.

You don’t have to be an elite athlete to get the benefits of intervals. If you’re a walker, pick up the pace for 20 to 30 seconds, then slow down to your usual pace of a minute or two. Then, do it again. Start small, with one, two or three intervals in your walk. As you grow stronger, add more intervals, and make them longer and more intense. To get the desired weight faster diet pills will do the trick. Look for ones that will fit your body accordingly.
